Terrorism has not only affected the lives of people around the world, but has had a significant impact on the insurance business drastically since 9/11. This course discusses the types of terrorism that can be used, the losses that have been sustained, and the ways that insurance industry and the government have responded to terrorism. Course includes a discussion of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA).
